and how I can help
My mom got into a bad arrangement with some roofers a few years back, check my posts on the main page to learn more. I would say there are typically 3 types of roofing jobs. There is the small fix that companies don’t like to do and would be best left to a tradesman. There are new roofs that insurance pays for after storm damage occurs. Typically you find people we in the business call “storm-chasers” that prefer to work these jobs as some roofing companies refuse to work with insurance. The last type of job is the new roof paid out of pocket, these are the favorite job of large businesses and often they spend a large effort on advertising.
To know what job you need, you need to get your roof looked at and check with insurance to see what they will cover. This is all free but some people find the process overwhelming. On a side note, if your insurance gives you a number on how much they are willing to cover in damages, keep this to yourself, the contractor does not need to know this to give you a quote. In the case, where your insurance is not covering the cost the repair, you can hire a licensed public adjuster to negotiate on your behalf.
How I can help:
If you know that your roof needs work, I can walk you through the process, find someone willing to look at the roof, set you up with multiple qualified appointments, and hopefully save you time and money.
